SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD

A Special Meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to order at 5:30 P.M. on November 15, 2021, by Putnam County Board Chairman Charlie Lenkaitis.

Roll call was taken by the Clerk of the County Board with Steven Malavolti, Luke Holly, Anthony Rue, Floyd Holocker, and Charles Lenkaitis answering.

The first agenda item was to discuss and approve the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of the County of Putnam, Illinois. After a short discussion board member, Malavolti moved to approve the 2021-2022 Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the County of Putnam, Illinois. Board member Rue seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The Clerk of the County Board was directed to process the Ordinance (#2021-04). The Budget is on file at the office of the County Clerk and the Putnam County website.

The second agenda item was to discuss and approve the Ordinance providing for the Levy of Taxes for Putnam County, Illinois for the fiscal year December 1, 2021, through November 30, 2022. After a short discussion board member, Holly moved to approve the Ordinance providing for the Levy of Taxes for Putnam County, Illinois for the fiscal year December 1, 2021, through November 30, 2022. Board member Malavolti seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The Clerk of the County Board was directed to process the Ordinance (#2021-05). The Levy is on file at the office of the County Clerk and the Putnam County website.

The third agenda item was to discuss and approve the Ambulance Service Contract after a short little discussion Board member Malavolti moved to approve the Ambulance Service Contract. Board member Holocker seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent.

The fourth agenda item was to discuss CP Care billing. It was moved by Malavolti to approve the CP Care bill that was adjusted from $1277.52 to $646.00 for patchwork that was previously done. Board member Holly seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Treasurer Kunkle suggested that we join the package that the Sheriff's department is on and make it one billing. If we chose this package, we would start in December being billed $645.00/month for the Standard package of CP Care for Sheriff’s Department and Courthouse combined. It was moved by Holocker to approve the CP Care Standard package. Board member Rue seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent.

At 5:53 P.M., board member Holocker moved to adjourn the special meeting. Board member Rue seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a board vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent.
