Early Voting Begins February 20, 2025, at the Putnam County Courthouse hours from 9 am to 4 pm. Also
Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9 am - 12 pm.
Election Day is April 1, 2025
Vote by Mail Ballots will be mailed beginning February 20, 2025. All ballots must be postmarked or returned by April 1, 2025.

NOTICE TO VOTERS
ALL PERSON'S MAY REGISTER TO VOTE who are citizens of the United States and will be 18 years of age on or before April 1, 2025, CONSOLIDATED ELECTION, and will have lived in the State of Illinois and the precinct of residence for 30 days before the date of the Election. If you are registered but your latest Voter Identification Card does not reflect your current address, you must report the changes in writing. If your name has changed, you must re-register. TUESDAY, MARCH 4, 2025, IS THE LAST DAY FOR VOTER REGISTRATION OR TRANSFER of registration with the County Clerk and Deputy Registrars before the CONSOLIDATED ELECTION.
EARLY VOTING will be conducted from FEBRUARY 20, 2025, through MARCH 31, 2025 (Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - NOON at the Putnam County Clerk’s Office.
VOTE BY MAIL will begin on February 20, 2025. The last day a ballot can be mailed out is Thursday, March 27, 2025.
VOTE BY MAIL APPLICATION: Please go to the Putnam County Website https://putnamil.gov to print your vote-by-mail application. Notice you have 2 options. 1. Vote by Mail (only this election) 2. Permanent Vote by Mail
GRACE PERIOD registration or change of address will begin on MARCH 5, 2025, and end on APRIL 1, 2025, only within the County Clerk’s Office. Use of the privilege requires the applicant to vote on the day of application or change of address.
Illinois residents may check their registration online by going to www.elections.il.gov clicking on “voters” and then clicking “Am I Registered to Vote in Illinois”.
