Putnam County Jail

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Jail was built in 2005 and
is located at 120 N. 4th St in Hennepin, IL. The Putnam County Jail
is a county jail for the jurisdiction of Putnam County which houses
inmates awaiting trial, processing and short-term sentences.
The Putnam County Jail complies with the State of Illinois Jail Standards.

Visitation

Visitation is Wednesday from 7pm-8pm and on 
Sunday from 2pm-3pm. Please call the Putnam
County Sheriff's Office at 815-925-7015 24hrs in 
advance to these days to schedule a time for visit. Further
visitation rules and information available upon request.

Jail Phone and Device System

Inmates have access to a jail phone and devices. You may deposit funds
for phone calls at the Inmate Sales Website or by calling 877-998-5678.

Inmate Mail

For the safety of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office,
the jail and other inmates; all incoming and outgoing
mail will be subject to viewing by staff.
