REGULAR MEETING OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD

November 25, 2013, 9:00 A.M.

The Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board, suspended at 6:05 P.M. on November 18, 2013, was called to order at 9:30 A.M. on November 25, 2013, in the Board Room at the Putnam County Courthouse in Hennepin, Illinois by Board Chairman Duane Calbow. All members of the board were present for the meeting. Also in attendance was Kim Baum, representing County Auditor Arch Hopkins of Arch Hopkins & Associates.

This suspended meeting of the Putnam County Board was called for the full board as the Finance Committee to review and approve the Annual Budget / Appropriation Ordinance, and Tax Levy for the Fiscal Year beginning December 1, 2013 and ending November 30, 2014.

After review and discussion of the Annual Budget / Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year beginning December 1, 2013 and ending November 30, 2014 with Ms. Baum, board member Chauntelle Biagi-Bruer moved to approve and adopt the Annual Budget / Appropriation Ordinance as written. Board member Sheila Haage seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call board vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The Clerk of the County Board was directed to process the resolution (#2013-0-07).

Next, the board reviewed and discussed the Tax Levy for the Fiscal Year beginning December 1, 2013 and ending November 30, 2014 with Ms. Baum. Board member Chauntelle Biagi-Bruer then moved to approve and adopt the Tax Levy as written. Board member Jordan Ellena seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call board vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The Clerk of the County Board was directed to process the ordinance (#2013-0-08).

Board Chairman Duane Calbow then took a moment to thank the board members for their contributions in the preparation of the annual budget for next fiscal year.

At 9:40 A.M., board member Sheila Haage moved that the suspended meeting be adjourned. Board member Chauntelle Biagi-Bruer seconded the motion and motion was carried on a board vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent. The suspended meeting was then adjourned.
