MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2018

A meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to order at 5:40 P.M. on September 24, 2018, in the Board Room at the Putnam County Courthouse in Hennepin, Illinois by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti. 

Roll call was taken with Duane Calbow, Sheila Haage, William Holmes, and Steven Malavolti answering.  Board member Luke Holly was absent for the roll call.  

This meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to discuss the Annual Appropriation Ordinance (budget) for the Fiscal Year beginning December 1, 2018 and ending November 30, 2019.  The committee began with a review of the County Highway Engineer’s appropriations / budgets.  The committee agreed to request the appropriations / budgets from Marshall County with whom the County Highway Engineer is shared.  The committee then reviewed the appropriations / budgets for the next fiscal year.  The committee then discussed the Putnam County Ambulance Fund (Appropriation #42).  The committee also discussed the current courthouse’s business hours and the courthouse policies and procedures.  

At 7:17 P.M., the meeting was suspended until Monday, October 1, 2018, at 5:30 P.M.  At that time, the Finance Committee will meet to continue the budgetary process for Fiscal Year December 1, 2018 through November 30, 2019.  The next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board is scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 5:30 P.M.
