PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2019

(Immediately Following a Special Meeting of the Board)

A meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to order immediately following a Special Meeting of the board at 8:40 A.M. on September 16, 2019, in the Board Room at the Putnam County Courthouse in Hennepin, Illinois by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti. 

Roll call was taken by the Clerk of the County Board with Sheila Haage, Steven Malavolti, Luke Holly, Charles Lenkaitis, and Brad Popurella answering.    

This meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to discuss the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year December 1, 2019, through November 30, 2020.  County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti distributed preliminary budgets that have been submitted by the officeholders and department heads.  The board will review the preliminary budgets at the next Finance Committee Meeting to be held on Monday, September 30, 2019, at 8:30 A.M.  The board will subsequently approve the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2020, at the next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board in October.      

At 8:50 A.M., board member Sheila Haage moved that the Finance Committee meeting be adjourned.  Board member Luke Holly seconded the motion and motion were carried on a roll call board vote of 4ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absent.  The meeting was adjourned.  The next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 8:30 A.M.
