WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2018

8:30 A.M.

A meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to order at 8:30 A.M. on October 24, 2018, in the Board Room at the Putnam County Courthouse in Hennepin, Illinois by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti. 

Roll call was taken with Sheila Haage, William Holmes, Steven Malavolti, and Luke Holly answering.  Board member Duane Calbow was unable to be present for the meeting.  Also present for the meeting was Sheriff Kevin Doyle, Supervisor of Assessments Tammy Mehalic, Probation Officer Patricia Hohulin, County Highway Engineer Pat Sloan, and County Treasurer Kevin Kunkel. 

This meeting of the Putnam County Board’s Finance Committee was called to meet with each of the office holders and department heads to review and discuss their respective budget appropriations for next fiscal year (December 1, 2018 thru November 30, 2019).  The committee reviewed and discussed the budget appropriations for next fiscal year with the Sheriff, the Supervisor of Assessments, the State’s Attorney, the Probation Officer, the County Highway Engineer, and the County Treasurer.      

At 12:15 P.M., the meeting was suspended until Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 8:30 A.M.  At that time, the Finance Committee will meet with office holders and department heads to continue with the review and discussion of their budgets for Fiscal Year December 1, 2018 through November 30, 2019.  The next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 5:30 P.M.
