SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 2020, 2:30 P.M.

A Special Meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to order at 2:30 P.M. on June 24, 2020, by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti.  As a result of the social restrictions due to the outbreak of the corona virus (Covid-19), the meeting was held on-line or by phone via Zoom. 

Roll call was taken by the Clerk of the County Board with Sheila Haage, Steven Malavolti, Luke Holly, and Charles Lenkaitis answering.  Board member Brad Popurella was unable to be present for the meeting and was absent for the roll call.  

This special meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to discuss and approve proposals for the county’s Property Damage, Casualty, and Liability Insurance and also the Workman’s Compensation Insurance for 2020/2021.  

After brief discussion, board member Charles Lenkaitis moved that the board approve and adopt the resolution as written.  Board member Brad Popurella seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a board vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 absent.  The Clerk of the County Board was directed to process resolution (#2020-04).   

At 3:20 P.M., board member Charles Lenkaitis moved to suspend the special meeting.  Board member Luke Holly seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a board vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 absent.  The Special Meeting was suspended until Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 8:00 A.M.  The meeting will be held at the Putnam County Office of Emergency Management Building.
