SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD
(Suspended from Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 3:20 P.M.)

THURSDAY, JULY 2, 2020, 8:00 A.M.

A Special Meeting of the Putnam County Board (suspended from Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 3:20 P.M.) was called to order at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the Office of Emergency Management Building in Hennepin, Illinois by Putnam County Board Chairman Steven Malavolti.  

Roll call was taken by the Clerk of the County Board with Sheila Haage, Steven Malavolti, Luke Holly, and Brad Popurella (by phone) answering.  Board member Charles Lenkaitis abstained from being present for the meeting due to a conflict of interest.  

This special meeting of the Putnam County Board was called to approve one (1) of the two (2) proposals for the county’s Property Damage, Casualty, and Liability Insurance and also the Workman’s Compensation Insurance for 2020/2021.  Mr. Rich Stokluksa with CIRMA, Arthur A. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., had submitted the low bid.  After brief discussion, board member Luke Holly moved that the board approve the low bid for the county’s Property Damage, Casualty, and Liability Insurance and also the Workman’s Compensation Insurance for 2020/2021.  Board member Sheila Haage seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call board vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, 1 abstention.         

At 8:10 A.M., board member Sheila Haage moved to adjourn the suspended special meeting.  Board member Luke HJolly seconded the motion and the motion was carried on a roll call board vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 absent.  The next Regular Meeting of the Putnam County Board is scheduled for July 13, 2020, at 8:30 A.M.  The meeting will be held at the Putnam County Office of Emergency Management Building.
